Meet the Team

Spencer Dowers - Founder & Owner

Our founder and other DPW Owner, Spencer, isn’t much of a cat or dog person, except when it comes to Golden Retrievers. His favorite way to spend a weekend is simply getting time with his wife and son, and his favorite season is winter, thanks to skiing, family time, the holidays, and

his son’s December birthday. When he’s relaxing, he’ll rewatch The Chosen or Elf on repeat. What drew him into power washing was the chance to see fast, satisfying results while serving his community, something he’s felt called to do since he was young.

Jeff LaFond - Co-Owner

Jeff is a co-owner who’s been with Dowers Power Wash for over four years. When he’s not on the job, he’s drinking a black coffee with cream. If he could only eat one meal for the rest of his life, it would be a medium New York strip cooked on a flat top blackstone with butter, eggs

over-easy, and yukon potatoes. He’s recently picked up crossfit and is getting back into practicing with his bow ahead of hunting season. One of the most satisfying jobs he’s worked on was restoring a bright red metal roof that had gone almost completely black, but the memory he

treasures most is cleaning an elderly client’s hazardous sidewalk for free, because genuinely taking care of people is always going to be one of our top priorities.

Carter

Carter’s go-to karaoke pick is California Girls, a classic in his words, and Italy has always been on his travel bucket list. Growing up, he dreamed of joining the military, and having just graduated this summer, he’s now pursuing a career with the U.S. Coast Guard as a maritime enforcement specialist. One of the projects he’s proudest of finishing was a massive 944-skylight job for ULINE. Given the choice, he’ll pick the beach every time, unless there’s a chance to hit the mountains for some skiing.

Mackenzie

Mackenzie loves to unwind after a long day with a long walk with her dog and some music, or a good dinner out with her husband. She and her husband are avid Red Sox fans who enjoy hunting down cool memorabilia, and she’s currently teaching herself to knit, drawn to the focus and patience the craft requires. What she finds most rewarding about her role is staying connected with clients from their first call through job completion, making sure they’re fully satisfied every step of the way. And when it comes to comfort food, nothing beats a classic cheeseburger, fries, and a diet coke.

Isaac

Isaac’s sleep schedule keeps him guessing whether he’s more of a morning person or a night owl, so for now he’s calling it both. When he gets the chance to get away, you’ll find him camping out in the woods, and outside of work his go-to hobby is airsoft, most often out at the range in Centerville. On the job, one of the trickiest projects he’s tackled was a Christmas light service on a steep, very vertical roof that took some creative problem-solving to finish. If he weren’t power washing, he says he’d probably be exploring a career in the asphalt industry.

Jared

Jared’s favorite season is winter, thanks to the snow, the holidays, and all the family time that comes with it. He’s a big fan of The Office, and when it comes to movies he leans toward Lone Survivor and 13 Hours. A dirty chai (chai with a shot of coffee, for anyone who didn’t know) is a guaranteed way to make his day better. What he loves most about working at Dowers Power Wash is that every job is different, taking him to new places and letting him meet all kinds of clients along the way — and if you’re setting out snacks for him, keep it savory.
